Buying a computer system/order to get things

Question
I have an old computer and still use dialup. I want to get both a new computer and subscribe to broadband (probably Comcast). Would it be easier or  better to first get connected to broadband and then get the new computer, or first get the computer and then subscribe?
Thanks

Answer
Hi Lee,

I would get the computer first so the Internet installer can get you on-line while he is there.

While shopping for a computer, see what Amazon has to offer.  My favorite is Lenovo (IBM) but stay away from HP, Compaq, and eMachine.  Dell is pretty good also but they have such an extensive selection that you really have to know what you are looking for.  If you are interested in Dell. come back and I will suggest one.
