Question
Hi there, I am looking to buy a laptop but there are so many out there. I was hoping that if i provide you with the specifications I am looking for, that you would be able to help me narrow it down.
Fristly, I want something that in lightweight, I will be carrying it around a lot so dont want something bulky and heavy.
Secondly, It needs to have quite a bit of memory as I will be installing programs and using programs on it.
Thirdly, fast processor as I will need it to be quite responsive and not lag when given a command.
Fourthly, it needs to have a wireless connection capability
Lastly, I need a long life battery as I may be using it away from power sources for periods of time.
Hope you can help me out, there is so many around!

Answer
Hi John,

Adding price in as a final factor, I recommend the Gateway NX570.  You should be able to find one at Circuit City, CompUSA, or Best Buy for about $599.  I purchased one a couple months ago and am totally satisfied with it.

Since size was another factor, you may want to look at other models that have a 14 inch screen instead of 15.5".  If so, do not purchase a Compaq, HP, or eMachine model, and do not get a notebook with either an Intel Celeron or AMD Sempron processor in it.
