hi iam using win xp and turbo c compiler. can i use this compiler for c++ if not suggest me some good compiler names and the source.And i dont know how to set environment variables plz help me on that.

 Both Turbo C and Turbo C++ compiler will work pretty fine in xp , if you didn't have a copy of Turbo C++ compiler you can obtain free from the following link     
http://dn.codegear.com/article/21751 for advanced C++ programmming in Microsoft frame work you can use Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 you are advice to purchase a cheaper version of this compiler
