Question
hello
i want to install a turbo c compiler on xp (home edition) laptop . how can i get a free version of turbo c compiler ? what version should i use ? if i want to compile both c & c++ programs , which compiler should i choose ?
is borland compiler better than turbo compiler ?

Answer
Hello A, thank you for the question.

If you are looking for a free compiler, why not use Visual Studio 2005 Express. It is free, and provides you with an entire IDE, as opposed to the command line compilers. It can be found here:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/

I'm sure you can find the others with a quick Google search.

I hope this information was helpful.
