My Name is Gifty and I am a Newbie to Computer Programing. I am actually now about to study Computer Network Engineering. I want to Study programming. I have read a lot of articles which most programers  think the C,C++ is the best for Computer Network programing. I am seeking your advice relating to how perfect you think it is to write programs with C, C++. Thank you. Regards Gifty (Ghana. West Africa)

Along with C and C++, you can add Java.
Java has created a revolution in the network space and is also very good for Network Programming.
But, my suggestion for you is to learn only one of them and you can later learn the remaining. Otherwise you will lose focus and end up learning nothing!!
