Hello Joydeep,

I am looking into learning SAP BW functional, and I  am wondering how important it is to have knowledge about a programming language like C or C++ , at this point I have no clue of what programming is, I don't even know HTML to be true. What do  you suggest me, at this point. Also do I need to learn some Database like oracle or SQL too.

Hi Simardeep

It would be advisable to learn programming slowly and its better to start of with c knowing how to code small programs and then slowly graduating into object oriented programming and at the same time you can start the sql part of database it doen't need any kind of programming knowldge or concept then after you have understood both of them well try going for the connectivity part between programming and database.
