Question
Hello...
Is there any mathemathical or logical relation between Monitor resolution and printer ?(I mean DPI)
Please Help Me.

Answer
Hello

Printer resolution and monitor resolution are independent of each other although the same measures can be taken for both of them.  The proof is given by the fact that changing your monitor resolution does not change the printer resolution.

DPI stands for Dots Per Inch.  An LCD monitor of 17" has about 13" on the horizontal axis.  For an image size of 1280x1024, the DPI value is about 100.
A printer generally has 300 DPI.  As you can see, this is 3 times better, but it also clear that we are closer to the paper than to the monitor.  As a result the perceived quality is not that much different.

Best regards
