Question
I asked you a question about converting from Vb code to C code. You sent a reply but I was not able to read it. Can you please resend it?

I asked, " Is it possible to convert from VB code to C code and if so how?

Also what is the best use for pointers?

Answer
I don't remember what your initial question was.
But, you can always get your questions in your login. Why do you say you cannot read it!?

I don't say it is not possible to convert VB to C.
But, it will be difficult and challening.
But, I don't see the need to do that.
Both languages have been there to do different things....
Why do you expect C to do whatever VB does?
Then we can have a single language:-))

But do you know that, the C program written in VC++ may not compile in gcc!
Even a C code written in one flavour of Linux (say, Red Hat) may not compile on another flavour of Linux *say, Suse)!?
