Question
I have AutoCad floor plan files but not AutoCad.  I need to open them in Visio 2003.  Can this be done without a copy of AutoCad and if so how?

Answer
Bryan, yes you'll be able to import the file in Visio. The only caveat is that you can only import autocad dwg versions 2002 & older. Any drawings created earlier than that, visio will not recognize.
If the Autocad floor plan you have was generated fr an earlier release, you can convert it to an older release using Autodesk's DWG True View:

Hope this helps & just let me know if you require further help!
