Question
Mr. Borge

I'm having a hard time understanding revision block.  What are the genmsg, gentitan, the numbers, & get-title-des1{xx.x} mean?  Could u please help.  Thank u in advance!

Sincerely,
chudurhi  kahmer

Answer
Mr. Kahmer,

Basically, these are attributes nothing too complicated if you've used attribute functions before in autocad.  When ever u see gentitan, gentitis, gentitus, gendwg, etc..., these are little text files w/ *.mld extension.  open these file w/ notepad and you'll see what i mean.  a (genmsg "gentitan" 88) indicates the the word (depending what language is used in autocad) in 88 is used w/ that particular attribute.  get it!  Now the funny numbers {20.0} for example.  its simply the ratio of space to cover divided by text height.  so thats like 4" divided by .2 renders 20.0.  please let me know if u need further assistance.

Sincerely,
Jory B. Borge
