Question
hello
my company is changing for Cadkey 99 to Solidworks Professional.  We need to convert over 5,000 .prt drawings to .dxf to start the conversion. do you know of any good batch converter to do this with?

your help is very much appreciated
Chad

Answer
Chad,

Use the 'CDE Execute' to read a text list (this file will consist of your all the *.prt library to be translated). This can be easily generated from the notepad and then rename the file extension with *.lst. The procedure is simple, the hard part is probably generating the *.lst file (could also be done thru batch dump process in DOS). Hope this helps!
