Question
installed software with cd on my computer a while ago, it was for photo printing etc. it worked fine until yesterday when i itried to open it it would not, an error sign kept coming up. i uninstalled it and tried to reinstall but now it will not even install, error keeps popping up. computer is not readind disk.

Thanks for your question, I will try and resolve it for you. The error message that you are receiving is being caused by the fact that the program is trying to install, however it is reading a left-over registry entry that is telling the system it is already installed.
This can be solved by downloading and installing Revo Uninstaller from this link

This is a cracking FREE program that knocks the spots of anything inside windows.
Once installed, look for your program on the list and select it and click UNINSTALL then ADVANCED
and this will kill off all registry entries held in memory of this program.
Now if this does not work because REVO does not see the original installed program .EXE file, download this from here

Install and run it, and let it find and remove any invalid entries of your program.
It should then accept a clean install of the program from the disk
