Question
I have a toshiba tablet pc, it had a dvd+rw drive, but it broke,a long pin fell out when it accidentally opened. I replaced it w/a dvd-rw drive & can't burn files to it, how do I fix this? I am using dvd-rw cd's.

Answer
Hello Jen

Thanks for your question , I will try and help you. Most problems surrounding replacing a new drive are either hardware or software based.
I do not know which model of Toshiba Tablet you have, but if you visit the site below in the link, it is the manufacturers support site.
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp?nav=Download
Just enter your model and search for the driver of the new DVD-RW and download it, then install it.
If this has not worked then try using a different brand of DVD-RW as some drives can be a bit "finicky" about certain brands, and may even prefer cheap and cheerful, than expensive types.
Also try a diffrent software programme for burning discs, this often helps out.
