Question
My leather swivel rocker recliner has trouble  staying stationary it wont stop swiveling  It turns when you sit in it so that you have to keep your foot on the floor to keep from swiveling.  Any ideas on how to fix this or can we disable the swivel and just use it as a recliner or rocker recliner  We recently moved this chair from one room to another   Thanks for any help you can give

Answer
If you look under the recliner(under the base) you may notice some sort of mechanism that allows the chair to swivel. There may be some sort of adjustment you can make to lock it or stop it from swiveling. If not, you could try to just take off whatever is there. Just remember to put felt on it if you have hard wood floors. If you know the brand of recliner you have, I may be able to help you further.
