i have white ring on a polished top a whitch has been french polished a hot dish was placed on it on top of table mat what is the best way out alfie

This is the question I get asked most often Alfie.
There are several ways to go about the fix, but try the easiest first.
I am enclosing a link to a site that takes you through the process and explains exactly what to do. Probably better than I can LOL.
I have however been the most sucessful using the cigarette ash and oil remedy.
