Question
I need to reweb some dining room slip seats. What should I be looking for - I've seen reference to English webbing, Jutelac, elastic webbing. Are these worth looking into - or is the regular jute webbing fine? Thank you  Fay

Answer
Hi Fay,  regular jute webbing is the best.  For seats, it has two black stripes, which indicates it is heavy weight.  If it has two red stripes it is light weight and not for seats.

Elastic webbing, called Perelli webbing is more comfortable because it gives a little more and makes the seat softer.

I hope this helps.
