Question
I have shaker style cabinets with a lacquer finish I would like to make them look aged by antiquing, can I do this with a lakeone buffing tinted paste wax? then put a clear coat of paste wax over the top?  How can this be accomplish the easiest way? If I was to use a oil based glaze would I have to put on a top coat? thank you

Answer
Nancy,

Sorry I can't help you much with your question. I specialize in oil finishes, and don't know a lot about antiquing a lacquered finish. I think there are other experts on this site who can help better than me.

Good luck,
