Banderob-Chase became the name in 1871, to my knowledge.  If your piece pre-dates the merger, it is obviously an antique.  By all means, consult with an appraiser to learn the value. The history of the company, as merged, is readily available via "google." Good luck to you.

there is no "new" value.  the furniture has not been made since the early 1900's.  any available piece would be an antique.
