Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/drawer slide for dresser

Question
I have a "Florida" brand dresser that has a broken drawer slide.  They are center-mounted, under-drawer slides and I have been looking online for a replacement hoping that it would be a commonplace, stock item.  But I can't find one to match.  It's 1 3/4" wide and 16 3/8" long.  If I can't find a match, what can I do to fix the drawer?

Answer
Have you tried schockmetal.com? That is the source where I get all of my replacement runners from.

If this doesn't work, you may need someone handy to redesign the drawers to work on wooden runners. (basically you attach wooden strips inside the dresser in place of whatever is there now, and then use the already made grooves that should be in the sides of the drawers)

I find that if the wooden slides are installed properly, over time they stand up and last much better than any type of grease or ball bearing runners.

Hope this helps.
