Question
Hello,We are sorry, but Eileen Cronk wasn't able to answer your question: Hi there, I have a round leather topped coffee table with a gold leaf desighn around the border. it has been looking a little rough lately and the other day one of the kids discovered that nail polish remover may not be a good thing to have around it! ended up eating a nice little round impression into the leather that you can feel with your fingers and is visualy obvious as well. is there anything i can do? would it be advisable to strip the rest of the tabletop and redo the whole thing? thanks for any help

Answer
If its just leather damage you may be able to have someone come out and fix the leather. In my time, the leather repairmen I have met are seriously skilled.

However, if you have wood damage, thats another story. At that point someone may have to refinish the table.

Good luck.
