Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/stripped screwhead

Question
I am trying to replace a screendoor handle.  However, the old handle has 2 screws (Phillips) that won't budge.  I've tried different screwdrivers, but the screws won't move,in fact, the metal from them is churning off.  I'm at a loss, please help.

Answer
Ok, option #1 - if you try a Canadian screwdriver (square head) it may be able to still grab something and pull it out.

Option #2 - If there is any part of the head that is grab-able, you can try a robo-gripper or a mini clamp. Grab onto the head of the screw and try turning it out that way.

I recommend going to a local hardware store, and explaining your situation, they may have a tool or something better that I don't know about.

Good luck!
