Answer
Hi Mary
Nice to hear from you.
All I can do for you Mary is ask you to read this
http://www.supergluecorp.com/removingsuperglue.html
As you will read, acetone is the only thing that will remove super glue.
It will also ruin most furniture finishes....great news eh?
But if this is really a wax finish perhaps you can rewax the area.
I think I would try a test in a place on the table that does not show.
I'll bet you have a bottle of acetone on hand (nail polish remover LOL).
Rub a bit on with a Q-tip and see what happens to the finish.
It will do something for sure but then try some wax over the area to see what happens.
Sorry I can't be more encouraging.
Good Luck
Regards
Eileen

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
