Question
The chest is lined with very nice cedar,the out side has not been finished, it has wood simliar to good plywood. What ideas do you have to cover chest?

Hi,

By coincidence I had exactly the same thing with a chest that my mother had.  I covered it in suede leather with padding underneath and then made a beautiful pattern using brass nail trim.  The chest looks fantastic like no other I have ever seen.
