Question
Hi,Kirk!
Just discovered a 1/2in v-shaped cut in my leather sofa (have 2 kids, but noone owned up to it). Is there anything I can use to seal up the 2 slits so it doesn't get any bigger? Mary

Answer
Unbelievable! Tell them you have santa on speed dial, and santa always knows who really did what.

Anyways, they do make a sealer product that dries and seals up cuts or slices in leather. Not sure if this is something you can purchase. I would try a larger hardware store like Home Depot or Lowes. If that doesn't work try to contact a local upholsterer. Someone who repairs leather should have something you can use.

I think your best bet is to have a professional repair it because I have seen leather repair first hand, and some of the good ones can make it so you wouldn't even know it ever had an issue.   :-)

Best of luck to you! Santa always knows!   :-)
