Question
I am trying to reconnect / restore and old rice bed and it requires new hardware to reconnect the post to the headboard.  Do you know where I can get this kind of bracket?  I need a complete set of brackets for the headboard and another for the post and the screw that connects the two pieces.

Hi Rick, I'm assuming this a "4 poster" bed that you have, but I've never seen one held together with some type of bracket or hardware. They're usually always mortise and tenon construction,(dowel and hole), and in typical cabinet maker fashion, glued together. Perhaps a modern one from a factory has some type of hardware that I haven't seen, (my specialty is really Antiques), is there a label, branding, or stencil on the bed anywhere that tells you the maker?
