Hi Greg, I just picked up a nice Parrish bowl at a 2nd hand store.  I want to use it but it has a nasty wax build up.  What is a non-toxic way to remove it?

Hi Michelle, the only way wood be to scrape the bowl with a sharpened cabinet scraper. They make ones with a radius edge, and then a sanding, followed by recoating the bowl with a foodsafe finish like Preserve or Boos Mystery oil, or pure mineral oil, although I highly recommend one of the first two.
