Question
The back rest of my dining room chairs have those little pegs that cover the screws which are glued of cause. Is there a trick to removing them or do they just break and then have to be replaced?

Answer
Hi Debi,

unfortunately there is not a good way to remove them,  if they are not glued in place it may be possible to push an ice-pick type tool at the very bottom - 6 o'clock, and pop the peg out.  If that does not work the only way to remove it is to break it apart and replace it.
