Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/Sleigh Bed Frame

Question
Hi. I was recently staying at a friends apartment and bent a piece of the frame on his Hudson Sleigh Bed. The actual bed part is fine, it's just the structure with wooden slats that the mattress goes on top of. The right side of it in the middle is bent down so that the mattress is tilted when you lay on it. I would like to find a quick and inexpensive way to fix it. Thanks!!

Answer
Ravi,

Are you talking about a metal piece? Whenever I need to straighten out a piece of bent metal, I use a big crescent wrench. Tighten the wrench down around the metal - and bend it back straight. If it's angle iron, it should bend fairly easily.

If it's not metal, write back with more information. Or better yet - send a picture, and I'll try to help.

Good luck,
