Question
Have been using OLD English for all these years and the cabinets keep soaking it up. Some places look ok but most look as if it is all soaked up  flat. Any suggestions on what to use to make them look beautiful.  Dark walnut real wood.  Thanks

Hi Eileen, how often do you use the Old English, and which product is it? It's hard to know how these were originally finished, but usually kitchen cabinets have a film type surface finish,(lacquer, varnish, etc.), and it sounds like it's pretty much gone, hence the reason the cabinets are soaking up the Old English. Unfortunately, the Old English could interfere with a new finish if you decide to have that done.....depending on how much you've used and how often....
