Question

Coffee Table
My 8 month old puppy was apparently very bored today while I was at work and he decided to work his way over to our pretty coffee table and chew the corner of it to pieces (literally). I'm just wondering in your opinion what the best way to fix it would be because my boyfriend is at his whits end and wants to get rid of the dog:( Any information would really be appreciated!

Wow...the caption says it all...it is pretty ruined. There is no way to repair this easily, and the cost of having it professionally repaired might likely be close to what the table's worth. It looks like particle board underneath the veneer, and it doesn't repair well. The biggest problem is that the dog will likely chew it again if not prohibited from that room. Wish I had a better answer, but this is not something a little filler and touch up will remedy, you're looking at replacing the entire corner and refinishing the piece. Post back if need be- Greg
