Hello -
I was wondering if you have any tips for my refinishing dillema -- as it is not going to be in the budget to get a new bedroom set any time soon, I would like to change the color of the set I have. However, on closer inspection, it appears this furniture is basically particle board with wood grain printed PAPER on it. Can I do anything with it or am I just stuck with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Lora, I wouldn't waste the time and effort, I would use the time to put in a little overtime at work to save towards some good, real wood furniture. Don't overlook the consignmet shops, unfinished furniture stores, and resources like craigslist....many good deals can be had, and if you're handy, and have a resource like AllExperts.com, you can save some real money.
