Question
Hi there. My quesion is, I am sanding down my kitchen cabinets .  They are 4 years old.  I hate the color enough that I am willing to do the work.. I have managed to sand them down.  But the very corners are the only set back.  What can I use to get these corners?  Also I found a group that will spray the new stain in.  Do you recogmend spraying or doing by hand.  I would think spraying is more consistent.  Thankyou

Answer
Hi Tracey
Nice to hear from you.
The only way I have found to get into these corners is with a Black and Decker tool called a "Mouse". Not good for much else but it works for this.
Here is the gadget. Its not expensive

Tracey I highly recommend you get the cupboards sprayed.
I think you are a little confused about spraying the stain in.
What they will do is apply a finish that has color in it.
Your cabinets will come back to you finished. So check to make sure you know exactly what you are paying for.
Good Luck

Expertise

Hi..I can answer most questions about the repairing, stripping and refinishing of all your old furniture and wood items(the things we call antiques)I can give advice about what to buy/avoid at auctions/flea markets. I do not give appraisals on antiques.

Experience

I have been refinishing antiques for the past 30yrs. While I have taken several courses over the years,I have found that "hands on" learning is the best teacher. Perhaps I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made while learning.
