Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/Old China Cabinet

QuestionMy Great-Grandpa has an old china cabinet that was his mom's and my be his Grandma's. It has antique glass (so it's rounded). It was bought from a German lady at the end of World War II. We think it is German.
Before I was born my Great Grandpa moved to his house. It was in the bed of a truck and my grandpa was watching that it didn't fall over. But the guy driving drove to fast and he couldn't hold it, so it fell. It is mostly in tack but the glass on the... right?... is broken and on top the part that hold the glass in place. We are planning on fixing it. We can glue the wood that is left back on, but we have no glass that is round like antique. If you know were we can buy cheaper glass like that or have tips on fixing it let me know.
Thank You!!!!!
AnswerHi Russel
Nice to hear from you.
You will be surprised to hear this glass is available even today.
I just did a quick search and found lots of places that sell it.
Now it will be up to you to locate a supplier close to you.

Russel I have no idea how pricey this glass is but if its too much so, consider a cheap fix by using plexi glass.
You will have to look around for a plexi glass that will bend easily. There are different thicknesses.
Best of Luck
