Question
I am looking for cabinet knobs. Many do no project enough to get past the trim around face of drawers. I am looking for some sort of metal or wood spacer with the right whole size (typical on cabinet hardware) that I could glue on bottom of knob and then attach knob to drawer. Little wooden craft wheels are an option. Any other ideas. The extension/spacer needs to be about 1/8 to 1/4 in.
There are backplates available for many knob styles... there are knobs that are deeper than some, and some knobs that come WITH a separate back plate, but most won't add that much to the depth. A woodturner could also turn Some custom spacers, or custom knobs, but obviously, that would be expensive.....start here:

| Comment | I ended up using the little wooden craft wheels.I will have to give them a little brass paint wash, but it should look fine. web site was great for future use, but did not have what i needed.I am out of time and must get the knobs on. thanks for your help. the web sites are good to know for future projects. | ||
