Question I read your answer to another lady about NOT trying to refinish a bathroom cabinet. My problem is that I can NOT replace this 3 sided desk and matching 2 drawer file. ANY suggestions at all as to what I might do??? paint it? sand and then paint it? Please help !!!
Answer Hi Liz, this stuff refinishes like crap, but you could clean it well, glue down any loose edges, etc.,lightly scuff sand it with some 220, then use a good primer and paint it. This type of furniture is SO inexpensive though, I'm not sure why you say you can't replace it.....and the newer versions of this type of furniture (Sauder for instance found at Staples, etc.)is a much better product, and still quite inexpensive- hope that helps- post back if need be- Greg
