Question We have a rice bed with 4 all posts which limit where we can place the bed in a room because of ceiling fan. Any way to unscrew to posts and replace them with a shorter post. If so, where can we get replacement posts? Thank you for your expertise.
Answer It would depend on the construction of your particular bed. Some posts are glued together into one post, and don't come apart. The top of the post usually has a finial of some type, and that can be cut off and reconfigured by several inches sometimes and remounted...as far as finding a shorter replacement, I don't think so, I have never seen such a thing available for purchase....a good Woodturner can probably help you out, though.
