Question
For a final coat, can I thin my "Poly." to make it go on thinner?
Bill,
Yes, you can thin down poly to help it flow. But remember, the thinner the poly, the less you're actually applying with each coat. So that "final" coat might require two coats. I know people who apply six thin coats, instead of three thicker coats.
Me? I use oil!
