Cabinets, Furniture, Woodworks/Dents and scratches

Question
Is there a product that will fill in scratches and small dents on furniture?  All the regular spray-on cleaners and polishers don't do this and I've tried covering the marks with furniture crayons and they don't work either.  I'm told I should use black paste wax but I have no idea what that will do.  Most of the furniture is either dark cherry finish or dark brown wood finish.  Everything I've tried so far looks awful.  I don't mind having dents as long as I can color them into the same color as the wood.

Answer
Hi Anne, typically on a finished surface, there isn't something that can fill in a dent or scratch to make it invisible. A furniture touch up marker is the best bet, but that will also only color the damaged area, and do nothing for the depression or gouged finish. They can be found at a good hardware store, or online, the Mohawk ones are the best, professional grade ones.

Hope that helps- regards -Greg
