Question
found a question you had answered about pine panelling that had darkened leaving lighter patches under art work. That person wanted to know how to lighten the walls. I would like to know if it is possible to darken the light areas that were under the art work. They have been in the same places for about 20 years.

Hi Jeanette, it's possible, but trying to make an exact match would take quite a bit of fiddling and color mixing, and probably even then not make an exact match in sheen and hue, as it's really oxidation and exposure to UV light, and trying to match that with a stain will be an exercise in frustration I believe.Post back if need be- regards- Greg
