Question
Hi Jamie,

One side of the tambour door on my appliance garage has pooped out. I can't figure out a way to get it back into the track.
It is part of the whole column of cupboards. I'm hoping that there is a little trick that only pro's like you know.

Thanks for your help,
Rose

Answer
Rose,

There is usually an area on the sides of the appliance garage where you can slip in the tambour. Look on the back, lower area of the sides. There might be a little area missing, by the tambour slot.

If you don't see that opening, then you might have possibly (accidentally) spread the sides, thus allowing the tambour to slip out. You might have to spread the sides slightly to get the tambour to slip back in.

It's hard to say. You'll have to examine the appliance garage, to see if you see the "opening" on the back side. If not, try to spread the sides. Might take someone to help you spread, while you pop the tambour into the track.

Good luck, write back if you need more help. Remember, if the tambour came out, it has to be able to slip back in somewhere.
