Question
marker is ordinary kids colouring marker, kitchen table is wood with varnish or lacquer finish. hi sheen smooth finish, stains are very light but didnt come off with soapy water help............

Hi Christine, you can try "Goo Gone" a product available at most hardware stores...unfortunately these dyes can mark a finish , and the damage can be irreversible on some things...if that doesn't remove it completely, you could try to buff it out with a fine rubbing compound...like the 3M "One Step"- links enclosed- please fell free to post back- regards- Greg
