Question
QUESTION: I have SEARCHED (underlined 100 times) the internet for some type of 3" - 4" medallion for 2 cabinet doors that are part of a distressed dresser. There is a "high-end" magazine by the name of Crow's Nest. They sell furniture that has these silver-type medallions on their furniture. I am unable to find any such thing. Can you PLEASE help me. I have searched for days. Thank you. Or can you direct me who I may ask.
Rhonda

ANSWER: Hi Rhonda,

I took a look at the Crow's Nest catalog, but don't think I saw the medallions that you are talking about. Can you either give me an exact link to a page where I would find one, or send me a JPG through this site?

If I can see what you're talking about, maybe I can help.

That catalog has some gorgeous pieces in it!

Will wait to hear from you,

QUESTION: Hi Jamie. Thank you so very much for your reply. I will attach a picture.

Answer
Rhonda,

I'm afraid I can't help you out with the medallion question. I suspect that those medallions are handmade, or at the very least, made within the factory that produces that furniture. You would need to contact them.

On the other hand, you could possibly look for a metalsmith who could make them for you. For example, there is a holiday craft show here in Las Vegas, called the Cowboy Christmas Show, and there are a few artisans who make things similar to what you've shown. If I were looking for medallions like that, I would look for artists first, instead of searching for the medallion itself.

Sorry I can't help you further. That is one gorgeous piece of furniture; you have GREAT taste!!
