Question
If I have several broken zig zag springs in a chair, where can a get replacement springs?  How do I determine gauge size of the wire?

Answer
Hi Terry,

There are several resources to purchase upholstery supplies on-line.  Type "upholstery supplies" into your search engine and many will come up.  Zig-zag springs also go by the name no-sag springs.  The wire comes in only two gauges the lighter is for backs and the heavier is for seats.

I hope this helps.  Please keep in mind that installing no-sag springs can be extremely dangerous and cause serious injury - if you need pointers on how to install the springs that information may be on this site from a previous answer or feel free to contact me.
