Question
We are trying to find a way to fit a new fridge into our somewhat limiting smaller (height) opening. Is there any way to adjust an upper cabinet to give us approx. 3/4" additional room to allow for the fridge we want?
Hi Janet, typically, no. Unless there is a soffit above the cabinet to reduce. If there is a way, it is advanced woodworking and/or finish/molding restoration almost assuredly. Ideally you'd also want more than that 3/4" to allow for proper ventilation and air movement. I'd call in a Pro woodworker/cabinetmaker to look at it with you...they should offer to do that at no charge. Feel free to post back- regards- Greg
