Question
whether the plywood are Eco friendly as compare to MDF ?
and also can you explain me how the MDF is processed as compare to plywood?
what is the durability for plywood as compare to mdf in kitchen?

Answer
Some plywoods are more 'eco' friendly than others...it will vary by manufacturer and Country of origin...typically MDF is made with interior glues that do not offer the water resistance of plywoods. Even a plywood made with interior glues, has a little more water resistance due to the ply construction...but exterior and/or marine grade plywoods will far surpass that of MDF. MDF is quite stable though, and is a good choice for veneering with laminate materials, or for use in other non structural areas away from the risk of high moisture, and it costs less than cabinet grade plywoods. Plywood excels in strength, ability to hold fasteners, etc., and is better suited for cabinet construction as a rule. As far as 'process', I'm not sure what you mean, other than what's not immediately obvious...MDF is basically sawdust and a resin, mixed together and cured under pressure, Plywoods are multi plies, each ply being oriented 90 degrees from the previous, glued and also cured under pressure.......Hope that helps- regards- Greg
