Question
I have a bi-fold closet door that came off top frame track.  It looks like "pin" that goes in track is pushed down into door frame so door won't stay in track.  Do I need to remove door to repair and then how to repair??  thank you.

Hi Catherine, typically these pins are spring loaded and the spring can disintegrate or weaken so the pin doesn't return to the up position. This allows the doors to be removed and replaced when working properly....you will need to remove the door and replace the pin mechanism....but I'm not sure how easy it will be to find. Home Depot has a pretty good selection of all types of door hardware, so I think I'd start there.....hope that helps a little- Greg
