Question
By accident we spelled a couple drops of nail polish remover on top of our dinning table. It is a dark wood with modified urethane finish (clear & tuff)for protection against water, alcohol, etc, but not against nail polish remover...can "restoz-it" help or the traditional sand and finish method will be better?

Unfortunately, this sounds like damage that will need refinishing, especially if some of the color has come off. Restorz-it is junk, I have heard SO many horror stories, that I'm surprised this company is still in business.If just the gloss has been affected, and there's no missing color, then a wet sand and re-spray may be possible, but this is not the job for a novice. It takes a high degree of skill and experience to do this type of repair.
