Question
Hello, I have two beautiful pieces of whitewash furniture that I would like to change to match my other newer furniture that is cherrywood. Any way this can be done?

Hi Trish, it depends on the type of wood the pieces are, and your finishing abilities...it's pretty advanced finishing....they would have to be completely chemically stripped first, down to bare wood...but even then, if they're a species like Oak, it will never look like Cherry. You can likely get the color right, but the woods are very different in grain and pore structure.The other option is to have a Pro finisher/Restore in to evaluate them with you.Post back if need be- Regards- Greg
