Question
We have a (1947 written on the mirror back) waterfall 5 drawer vanity. The mirror is rectangular and has two 1 inch wood pieces that support the back. The mirror is 42" wide and straight across the bottom and we can't figure out how to mount it. No matter how we place it on the vanity it doesn't appear to fit. There are two drawers on either side of the vanity with a space in the middle about of 21 inches which is 3" deep. Are we missing a piece? We would appreciate any suggestions you may have.
Hey Lynton...it sounds to me like this mirror is from a larger piece like a dresser...and not from the vanity. Typically these were bought in matching sets of furniture for a whole bedroom...perhaps the dresser is missing?...and with it the vanity mirror?......post back- regards- Greg

| Comment | We have a set with bed and dresser, but no one can remember where the mirror went. There are two metal attachments on the bottom of the mirror obviously not the original. I was thinking that the mirror went to another piece altogether. Your answer would explain a lot. Thank you! | ||
