Question
i have a 30 yr old oak woodmode kitchen and need to replace 2 cutting boards that insert into the cabinetry. woodmode can order tham for 225 @ including tax and shipping. any other ideas? thanks, phyllis

Answer
Phyllis,

I'm just guessing, but those replacement boards are probably (roughly) 22" square, or something close to that. If I were making those for someone, I would probably make them out of Maple, and charge (roughly) $100 a piece, so that price they quoted you seems to be a good one. I would recommend that you buy them.

The alternative is to have someone come out to measure for them, and have them custom made. Unless you want something really special, seems like it just makes sense to order them from Woodmode.

Hope this helps,
